Kaeti Frady is a multidisciplinary performing artist, bodyworker, and educator. Leading with a profound passion for transformative art and radical authenticity, Kaeti delights in using poetic movement as a tool for promoting social justice, transcending cultural barriers, empowering communities, and expanding our concept of possibility.
Kaeti holds a degree in cultural anthropology from the Evergreen State College, and discovered her love for performance while studying dance and political theatre abroad in India at Darpana Academy of Performing Arts. In 2012, she completed over 600 hours of training in kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, and hands-on bodywork as a licensed massage therapist. With a physical background in martial arts, yoga, and improvisational movement, she began training in circus arts in 2011, and has since trained and performed all over the world. Kaeti has performed as a company member of AirDance New Mexico, trained and performed with Wise Fool New Mexico, honed her skills at Circus Center (San Francisco) and L'Ecole Leotard (Montreal), and most recently completed three years of intensive professional training at the New England Center for Circus Arts. Following graduation from circus school, Kaeti spent a year in New Orleans teaching circus arts to youth at the International School of Louisiana, coaching adults at Fly Circus Space, and performing with local companies.
Kaeti moved to Philadelphia in 2018, and is currently in residency with Open Ring Circus at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.
